Leaves of Absence

Dartmouth Hall on move in day 2021If you need to take time off due a non-work related injury or illness for yourself, to help a sick or injured eligible family member, for the birth or adoption of a child, or if you need to take unpaid time off for a personal reason, please review the important information below.

Short Term Disability Leave

In the event you are unable to work due to a disability, or are pregnant and having a baby, a claim for short-term disability can be initiated.

Long Term Disability Leave

If your disability continues beyond 180 days, you may be eligible for benefits through the long-term disability plan.

Unpaid Leaves of Absence

All regular, benefits-eligible employees may apply for an unpaid leave of absence if needed.

Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA)
