Wellness Program Option

Engage in your Wellness Program option. Employees elect a free Wellness Program option each year during Open Enrollment, even if you waive medical coverage. The three Wellness Program options include:

Health Coaching

Connect with a Health Coach to help you achieve your personal health and wellness goals.  Coaches have expertise in nutrition, exercise, tobacco cessation, stress management and general health, so whether you're looking to lose weight, lower your blood pressure, get a better handle on stress, or change up your exercise routine, a health coach can help! A Health Coach is not a physician and does not offer medical advice, but will work with you on setting and working towards your goals—at no cost to you!  Health Coaching is offered through Cigna; you must be enrolled in a medical plan through Dartmouth to be eligible.

Preventive Care

Preventive care includes regular check-ups with your primary care provider (PCP), screenings and immunizations. Your PCP will recommend that you have specific tests or vaccines based on your age, lifestyle habits, family history, gender, and health. Take the first step and have a conversation with your PCP to confirm you’re up to date on your screenings.

Omada

This digital lifestyle change program can help you lose weight, feel fantastic, and develop long-term healthy habits.

If you or your adult family members (18+) are at risk for type 2 diabetes or heart disease, and are enrolled in a Dartmouth College medical plan, you may be eligible for this free program.

Take a 1-minute health questionnaire to see if you're eligible at omadahealth.com/dartmouth

Health Stations

Check your weight, blood pressure, and/or waist circumference at a health station location near you. You may also engage with the Pulse program app, plus Pulse participants receive 250 points for taking their measurements each month. The Health Stations are open and available for all employees to use; you do not have to be a Pulse participant to take your measurements. Please note: many of the health stations are currently closed.

Dartmouth Health Connect

Join Dartmouth Health Connect for an innovative relationship-based primary care practice that gives you the type of health care you deserve. Receive 24/7 access to your care team, no cost for office visits, and access to physicians, nurses, health coaches, and an in-house behavioral health specialist. Open to all employees and adult family members (18+) enrolled in a health plan through Dartmouth College (you cannot be contributing to or receiving contributions to a Health Savings Account).

The Wellness at Dartmouth office offers free live and pre-recorded webinars covering a variety of topics to help support your physical well-being, as well as free FLIP classes via Zoom.
