LYRA IS HERE FOR YOU.
Lyra provides care for your mental health and overall well-being—how, when, and where you need it—at no cost to Dartmouth employees, or your family members. Easy-to-use tools to support your well-being include:
- 10 no-cost sessions – get confidential care from a therapist and/or coach, matched to your needs and preferences, to help with challenges such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationships, grief, and more.
- Continuity of care – after 10 sessions, you can continue with the same provider if you are enrolled in a Dartmouth medical plan (billed and processed as in-network through Cigna).
- Fast, easy scheduling — get an appointment in as little as two days, with evening and weekend options to fit your schedule. Book instantly and choose between virtual or in-person care for even more flexibility.
- Support for the whole family – find specialized care for kids, teens, parents, and couples, so your entire household can feel stronger together.
- On-demand resources – access hundreds of self-help resources such as meditation and breathing exercises, soundscapes, videos, articles, and courses, anytime, anywhere.

What if I need care before Lyra launches on Sept. 1?
Please do not delay asking for help and getting the care you need. If you, or someone you know, is in crisis, please call or text 988 to access the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, call 911, or go to your nearest emergency room.
You may continue accessing support and resources through ComPsych, our current F/EAP vendor, during this transition.
- ComPsych Contact Info: 844.216.8308 (GOLD-UE Members: 866-606-6355) / guidanceresources.com (web ID: Dartmouth).
- If you are currently receiving therapy through ComPsych, you'll have ample time to transition smoothly to Lyra. You may continue seeing your current ComPsych provider for up to 8 EAP sessions. Once you have completed your ComPsych EAP sessions, you will transition your care to Lyra.
- If you are currently meeting with the on-campus counselor, Chris Henderson, you will be able to see Chris either on-campus or virtually through ComPsych until September 14, 2026; you will then transition your care to Lyra and may continue seeing Chris as a virtual provider through Lyra.
- Your access to ComPsych’s Guidance Resources online platform will end on September 14, 2026, and you will no longer be able to start care with ComPsych after this date.
