Undergraduate Student Parking Permits
Undergraduate student parking permits for A-lot are renewable July 1 - June 30 at a cost of $95.98 per-term. Purchase A-lot permits on the Dartmouth Parking Portal at Parking.Dartmouth.edu. Returned permits receive a monthly pro-rated refund.
All vehicles parked in A-lot or in off-campus spaces must be registered with Transportation Services. There is no charge to register for off-campus parking (i.e. fraternities, sororities, and private homes).
Parking permits are not transferable from one vehicle to another and can only have one vehicle assigned during a term.
The lots are only available to students activley enrolled in a term. Vehicles cannot be stored on campus even with a valid permit for an off-term.
First and Second Years Student Vehicle Policy
First and Second year students are not permitted to bring a privately-owned vehicle to campus. In emergency cases Transportation Services will consider short-term exceptions to the policy.
First-year and second-year students are not permitted to bring a privately-owned vehicle to campus. If a rare exception to this policy is needed for emergency, medical or family reasons, please contact Transportation Services for an application.
Graduate and Professional Student Parking Permits
Graduate and professional student parking permits are available July 1 - June 30. For information on individual permit eligibility, graduate student parking lots, and to order a permit (both available free and paid options), visit the Dartmouth Parking Portal at Parking.Dartmouth.edu. Returned paid permits receive a monthly pro-rated refund.
Motorcycles and Mopeds
All motorcycles and mopeds must be registered with Transportation Services ($5.30 annual fee).
