Robert: "Bill Brayton, who was also my class, and I got together. We were waiting on tables at different places…restaurants, no dining halls … Brayton and I decided instead of working at these jobs, we were gonna hire people to work for these jobs and the pay would be we'd get meals from there. So we did that. It was quite successful. But we had an awful time during Carnival…I'd get called up and Joe Sayre or somebody, he needed help and I had to get down to help … I couldn't find anybody at that hour."
