Harry: "I think all the people that were here [at Dartmouth] had college preparatory courses and they were equipped to deal with this. I took my first algebra exam. I don't know if they called it algebra, but there was a lot of algebra in it.… I didn’t know algebra …[I got] a zero, a big fat zero. I was not surprised, but then I figured, 'What you gonna do about this?'So I went to Baker Library and got some elementary books on algebra and started learning about algebra."
