Description
Single leaf from an Italian martyrology, ca. 1000-1050, written in a fine Ottonian hand with a knotted initial with clubbed terminal endings. The text of the fragment contains part of the life of Saint Palatia. On the verso of the leaf is a built-up capital letter in a distinctive humanistic style.
