Courses@Dartmouth is a user-friendly course registration system for students to elect, add, drop, and swap courses. This page provides information on the interface, including the icons and specific functions of each section used throughout the system. Visit the Common Error Messages and FAQ website for answers to questions and information on common error or warning messages.

Blue Cart | A blue cart icon indicates that the course is currently in your cart. |

Black Check Mark | The black check mark indicates you are registered for that course. |
 |
Green Check Mark |
In the Search Results panel the green check mark indicates you have taken the course. In the Registration Results panel the green check mark indicates your registration action was successful. |

Green Plus | The green plus indicates a course you are adding to your schedule, but have not yet completed the process. |
 |
Pencil | A pencil indicates you are editing the registration option for the course. |
 |
Calendar | The calendar icon displays a weekly schedule of courses. If selected from the search results panel, it will display the courses from your search. If selected while looking at your cart, it will display the courses saved in your cart. |

Yellow Triangle | A yellow triangle with an exclamation indicates a warning. If displayed next to a course, the warning is related to the course; if displayed above the contents in a cart, the warning is related to your registration. See the FAQ/Common Warnings for a list of common warnings. |

Red Dash | A red dash indicates a course you are attempting to remove. |
 |
Red Circle with an ‘X’ | A red circle with an X indicates there are no open sections to register for. |
