Description
Single leaf of an Italian missal, ca. 1450, with square notation on four-line staves. The recto contains six lines of music and text with two initials and the verso contains seven lines of music and text with one initial. Texts and music are for the feasts of St. Margaret the Virgin, Mary Magdalene, St. Christiana, St. James the Greater, and St. Pantaleon, i.e., the propers for feasts from 20 July to 27 July.
