Psychiatric disorders and pain: Using transcranial magnetic stimulation and other neurostimulation modalities

Dr. Dokucu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Geisel. He is a psychiatrist who also has a background in Developmental Neurobiology and Psychosomatic Medicine. He will review: 1) the psychiatric disorders with significant pain component: such as Somatic Symptom Disorder and Major Depressive Disorder, 2) the basic principles of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and electroconvulsive therapy (ECT), 3) The use of  TMS and ECT in pain disorders
