About Staff View

This view of the Library Catalog is for use by Library Staff only. It is not intended for library patron use.

To access this view, you must have a PIN. Please see a member of Access Services staff or your library's circulation coordinator if you have problems with your PIN.

When you log on, the welcome screen should say, "You are logged in as STAFF to Dartmouth College Library as: [your name]." If it does not say STAFF, please contact a member of Access Services staff or your library's circulation coordinator to change the PTYPE in your Millennium patron record. You will not be able to see the staff view of the Library Catalog unless your PTYPE identifies you as library staff.

Collection Services staff maintain a significant number of records for internal processing purposes that are SUPPRESSED from public view. In the staff view of the Library Catalog ALL SUPPRESSED records are visible. Please remember that the results of your searches may contain records not available to the public.

All data in all Library Catalog records are available for viewing in this view. For any questions interpreting records, please contact Cataloging and Metadata Services (bibliographic, item, holdings) and Acquisitions Services (orders, checkin, holdings).
