WebPac Implementation Team : Patron Initiated Features Subgroup

Charge

  1. The subgroup should determine "what is desired" versus "what is possible" when exploring patron initiated features in the webopac.
  2. Features to be examined:
    • Intralibrary document delivery (select requested item)
    • Holds & recalls
    • View and edit patron records
    • Renewals
    • ILL requests
    • Circulation status messages presented to user
  3. As part of the process the subgroup should examine what other Innovative libraries are doing in their webopacs concerning patron initiated features.
  4. The Circulation Roundtable should be consulted as a means to allow feedback from all libraries at Dartmouth concerning what features are offered.
  5. Complete work by Nov. 15 with a written recommendation to the WebPAC Team.
