| 08/07/25: Safety Council Summer 2025 | Quarterly update on overall campus safety that is open to the public. Standing reports are provided by the Department of Safety & Security (DoSS), Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Facilities Operations & Management (FO&M), and the Office of Emergency Management (OEM). The remaining time is used to crowdsource additional safety issues on campus that can be investigated or resolved. |
| 08/11/25: Hostile Intruder Defense (Open) | Understand how to prepare for life-threatening emergencies, quickly evaluate a hostile intruder situation, proactively make/act on a decision (Avoid, Deny, Defend), and contextualize the police response to a hostile intruder scenario on campus. |
| 08/12/25: DartAlert Sender Training | Walkthrough of DartAlert, Dartmouth’s Mass Notification system, with authorized senders to ensure they are familiar with existing templates, message customization options, and “glass break” procedures to enable vendor to send alerts on Dartmouth’s behalf. |

| 10/25/25: Ski Patrol Life Collapse Full Scale Exercise | Evaluate Dartmouth Ski Patrol and surrounding partners in their response to a simulated collapse of one of the chair lifts at Dartmouth Skiway. |

| 11/10/25: Annual DartAlert Mass Notification Drill | The annual test of Dartmouth’s mass notification system, DartAlert. This includes receiving test messaging via voice call, email, SMS text message, an emergency banner on Dartmouth’s website, a monitor takeover, outdoor warning sirens, and the LiveSafe mobile safety app. |

| 01/08/26: Shelter in Place Training | Review shelter-in-place procedures for various types of emergencies you may see on or off campus. |

Walkthrough of how to operate an AED with a live demonstration using AED trainer units and mannequins. A review of bleeding control methods (direct pressure, wound packing, and tourniquet application) with discussion and demonstration on what materials can be used for improvised tourniquets. |

This includes a walkthrough of gaining access to the system, creating new plans, updating existing plans, and a description of the submission and long-term maintenance process. |
| 03/31/26: Senior Leadership Team TTX | Continuing with Emergency Management’s Recovery theme, we review and discuss our plan for addressing a mass casualty incident and talk through the steps of setting up the systems that enable community recovery from the perspective of senior leadership. |
| 04/30/26: FFC Logistics TTX | Continuing with Emergency Management’s Recovery theme, we review and discuss the different stations that could be needed in a Friends & Family Center and determine whom amongst our Dartmouth colleagues or external partners would be the best fit to train to fill these positions. |
