Hostile Intruder Defense

This training helps participants prepare for life threatening emergencies involving a hostile intruder. It focuses on quickly evaluating the situation, making informed decisions using Avoid, Deny, Defend, and understanding how law enforcement will respond on campus.

Non Violent Crisis Intervention

This training provides practical guidance on recognizing and responding to disruptive behavior. Participants learn how situations escalate and how to apply appropriate responses to reduce risk and maintain safety.

  • Verbal Escalation Continuum, levels of escalation and how to respond

AVADE Workplace Violence Prevention

AVADE Workplace Violence Prevention focuses on education, prevention, and mitigation of workplace violence risk factors. It equips participants with practical strategies to recognize warning signs, reduce escalation, and respond effectively to maintain a safe environment.

AED and Bleeding Control Awareness

Walkthrough of how to operate an AED with a live demonstration using AED trainer units and mannequins. A review of bleeding control methods, including direct pressure, wound packing, and tourniquet application, with discussion and demonstration on what materials can be used for improvised tourniquets.
