Sign Up for Emergency Notifications

In the event of an Emergency, notification is paramount!

DartAlert is Dartmouth’s Emergency Mass Notification System, which combines various methods of communication to establish redundancy and resiliency in the delivery of Emergency Notifications to the campus community.

DartAlert sends simultaneous emergency messages as follows:

  • Email to all Dartmouth email accounts
  • Voice calls to all Dartmouth administered landline phones
  • Emergency Web Banner on the Dartmouth Home page
  • Alertus computer screen pop-up to all Dartmouth standard computers managed by the Device Assurance Program
  • Alert Beacons strategically placed around campus
  • Text to personal mobile phones (when registered)

Have you registered? Is your contact information up to date?

To receive DartAlert emergency messages directly to your personal mobile phones, be sure to register your number as follows:

To receive Alertus computer screen pop-ups, make sure your personal computer has the Alertus Desktop Application. Download it from here: Alertus

Have you downloaded our LiveSafe safety app?

Be sure to download and install LiveSafe (from here: LiveSafe)!

LiveSafe is a safety app that provides a quick and convenient way to communicate with us at DoSS, or 911. Use LiveSafe to easily share safety information and security concerns directly to DoSS using text, picture, and video (you can do it anonymously if you want); receive important alerts and notifications, and access important phone numbers and resources. Also, you can share your location with friends, family, and colleagues to get from place to place safely using the app’s SafeWalk feature.
