Chief Compliance Officer

Alex joined Dartmouth in January 2023 and is responsible for designing, implementing, and leading a comprehensive program to support existing compliance efforts throughout the College.

Prior to Dartmouth, Alex served as the inaugural chief compliance officer for Temple University in Philadelphia, where he established the university’s ethics and compliance function and taught an undergraduate class in corporate compliance at Temple’s Fox School of Business and Management. Before Temple, Alex served as vice president for compliance at Eaton Corp. in Cleveland, and as Chief Compliance Officer for Coca-Cola Enterprises Inc. in Atlanta. He began his career as an associate in the litigation department of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP.

Alex earned his JD at Cornell Law School and his bachelor’s degree in economics and English from Fairfield University.
