A physician, scholar, and leader in public health, John Rich was named a MacArthur Fellow in 2006 and was elected to Dartmouth's Board of Trustees in 2008.

MAKING A MARK

Rich is known for his work with African-American men in urban areas. While serving as director of Boston Medical Center, he founded the Young Men's Health Clinic, which provides primary care for men ages 17-29.
