Anne Kapuscinski

 

Anne Kapuscinski is the chair of Dartmouth's Environmental Studies Program and holds the inaugural Sherman Fairchild Distinguished Professorship in sustainability science.

 

LOOKING FORWARD

Kapuscinski is an international authority on the ecological risks of genetically engineered organisms and her research has informed national agricultural conservation policies.

 

IMPACT ON DARTMOUTH

At Dartmouth, Kapuscinski led the establishment of an undergraduate minor in sustainability and serves on the Sustainability Steering Committee. She is also a member of the editorial board for Elementa, a journal recently launched by Dartmouth and four other leading research universities which publishes original peer-reviewed articles on global environmental change.
