Description
Single leaf of a fourteenth-century Spanish or Italian gradual written in a round gothic hand with square notation. The leaf is decorated with two small initials and an historiated initial depicting the beheading of John the Baptist. Text is for the offertory of the Feast of Saint John the Baptist.
