Snowshoeing on the Golf Course on January 21st

Join Kathy Decato of the Outdoor Programs Office for a snowshoe around the golf course on Wednesday, January 21st from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM. Wear warm clothing and boots; bring a hat and mittens or gloves. Meet at the Cross Country Center in the basement of the DOC House at 12:00 PM. Showshoes provided. No experience necessary. Shopping with Diabetes Class on January 27th

Whether you have just been diagnosed with diabetes or are shopping for a family member or friend with diabetes, this workshop can make things easier for you. In this class presented by the Co-op's registered dietitian, you'll have a chance to practice the skills you need to shop for healthful foods that keep diabetes in control. Learn how to read labels and what the best choices are in the grocery store, and get answers to your questions about how to eat with diabetes.
