Give. Advocate. Volunteer.

When the Dartmouth community unites to support its neighbors, incredible things happen.

Join your colleagues in raising funds for the Granite United Way, which makes the Upper Valley a place where all our neighbors can learn, earn, and be healthy.

Each year, the Dartmouth community joins the Granite United Way in supporting the agencies and organizations that bring positive change to our neighbors in the Upper Valley.

Together, contributions to the United Way from members of the Dartmouth community fund nonprofits that provide domestic violence education, scholarship funding for early childhood education, the provision of food and shelter, and services for senior citizens. In addition, our combined contributions help fund NH 211, Work United and VITA.

2020 Campaign: Thank You for Your Generosity!

Dartmouth and the United Way: Upper Valley Partners Since 1971

The 2020 Dartmouth United Way Campaign exceeded our goal by raising more than $260,000. The campaign also saw 96 new donors.  In addition to financial donations, employees also donated their time to local organizations such as Visions for Creative Housing Solutions and Upper Valley Haven.

In a year with overwhelming challenges, it is heartening to see so many people come together to lend a hand. As we look to the year ahead, we realize that community recovery from COVID-19 will be a long one. The support that Dartmouth’s campaign can offer to local nonprofits is invaluable to this recovery. Because of our community’s generosity, our Upper Valley neighbors will receive the essential support they need to improve their lives, including legal services, counseling of all kinds, heating assistance, after-school and senior programs and much more.

The 2021 campaign, kicking off in the fall, will mark 50 years of partnership between Dartmouth College and the Granite United Way.
