Emergency Operations Plan

Developed in collaboration with numerous essential partners across Dartmouth, the Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) is intended to provide all-hazards guidance for responding to major emergencies that could threaten the health and safety of the Dartmouth community or disrupt College operations or programs. The EOP establishes emergency response priorities, an emergency leadership structure, defines responsibilities and roles, and outlines emergency response protocols for specific types of emergencies. Protocols outlined in the EOP are designed to be used by the Emergency Planning Group (EPG), the Incident Response Team (IRT), the Dartmouth Incident Commander, the senior leaders, and the Senior Officer in Charge (SOIC) to respond to an actual crisis event.

The 1st Edition of the Dartmouth Emergency Operations Plan will be accessible here following final approval from Dartmouth Leadership.
