Savannah Grice Ellis, Assistant General Counsel

Savannah Grice Ellis joined the Office of the General Counsel in 2026 and works on a wide range of legal matters. 

Prior to her current role at Dartmouth, Savannah worked as a litigation associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in Washington, D.C.  She also served as a law clerk to Judge Joan L. Larsen of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and Judge Richard J. Leon of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

Before law school, Savannah worked at Goldman Sachs in New York City as a hedge fund analyst in the Alternative Investments and Manager Selection group.  She also worked on Capitol Hill as an investigator for the U.S. Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations and as a legislative aide to U.S. Senator Rob Portman.

Savannah graduated magna cum laude from Dartmouth College in 2015.  She received her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 2022, graduating magna cum laude.
