Maria Emanuel, Ph.D., joined GrantGPS in 2026, bringing 20 years of experience fostering multistakeholder partnerships and cultivating innovation for research enterprises. She works with the Thayer School of Engineering to help researchers toward achieving their research goals and enhance their impact through understanding stakeholder motivation, creating strategic roadmaps, utilizing clear communications, and optimizing operations.

Maria’s professional experiences center around research-focused intellectual asset management and technology transfer; research collaboration and research development; and ethics in research and scholarship training. She began her career with a life sciences start-up company, followed by 20 years at the University of New Hampshire and KB Science, a strategic consulting firm.
