Advancing the common good in New Hampshire and Vermont

Granite United Way is working to advance the common good in 42 communities in New Hampshire and Vermont. We are focusing on the basic things that we all need for a good life: A quality EDUCATION that leads to a stable job, INCOME that can support a family through retirement, and good HEALTH.

We all win when a child succeeds in school, when families are financially stable and when people are healthy. United Way is creating opportunities in the community by focusing on the building blocks for a good life - education, income and health. Our goal is to create long-lasting changes that prevent problems from happening in the first place. We invite you to be part of the change by investing in this year's campaign.

Working with 48 community partners we're creating strategies to prevent problems from happening in the first place. With community investments we can:

  • reduce the prevalence of underage drinking and tobacco use
  • promote Born Learning and the importance of quality child care
  • integrate young adults into the regional workforce
  • increase utilization of the earned income tax credit
  • combat the rising cost of home heating fuels
  • collaborate to address unmet needs, such as oral health

Because underneath everything we are and underneath everything we do, we are all Connected. Dependent. United. And when we reach out a hand to one, we influence the condition of all. That's what it means to LIVE UNITED.
