This term Dartmouth welcomes the 1,097 members of the Class of 2012. The class is the most diverse (44.2% are students of color or international students), was drawn from the largest applicant pool (16,538), and has the highest number of scholarship recipients (48.5%, with an average scholarship of $32,855) in Dartmouth's history.
