Dartmouth Brain Imaging Center (DBIC)

 

In 1999, Dartmouth became the first college to have a functional brain imaging center dedicated to cognitive neuroscience research. The DBIC has a Philips Achieva 3T MRI scanner that is used by faculty investigators, postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, and undergraduate students. Users include investigators from the departments of Psychological and Brain Sciences, Education, Philosophy, Music, Computer Science, and the Thayer School of Engineering.
