About the Program
All undergraduate majors welcome - AUK offers internships in administrative offices and academic departments across three colleges: Arts & Sciences, Engineering & Applied Sciences, and Business & Economics. Internships are customizable to align with your personal and professional goals.
Slots available: 4 (two per term)
Duration: 9 weeks (minimum duration 8 weeks)
Terms offered: Fall 2025 and Spring 2026
Funding: $4,500K + vetted lodging in a furnished apartment near campus (a $2000K+
value)
Internships at AUK allow Dartmouth students to gain professional experience in an international location while contributing to the growth and development of a liberal arts university in a key part of the world.
Fall interns are typically in Kuwait from mid-September until just before the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday. Spring interns are typically in Kuwait from mid-March through the end of May.
Students may also audit a course with instructor permission. There are opportunities to participate in other activities to deepen their understanding of Kuwait and the region.
