Planning, Design & Construction (PDC) facilitates and manages all phases of the College’s campus planning and capital development with services ranging from space utilization and campus mapping to the design and construction of campus buildings and landscapes. Our team of planning, design and construction professionals strive to deliver services of the highest quality that enhance the campus and environment in a manner that supports Dartmouth’s mission.

PDC, a member of the Campus Services division, works collaboratively with other Campus Services departments—Facilities Operations & Management, Environmental Health & Safety and Transportation Services—and many other college stakeholders, such as Safety & Security, Information Technology & Consulting, and the Office of Communications. In addition, we partner with neighboring towns and the community to provide project leadership through outreach, permitting and project approvals.
