Dinner with Dr. Manish Mishra

On May 17th, we invited Dr. Manish Mishra of the Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice to speak with students in another installment of the (Virtual) Dinner with a Doc series. Over video call, students had the opportunity to hear about Dr. Mishra’s extensive experience in healthcare, ranging from medical practice in several specialties to global health policy. His unique background in religious studies contributed to the discussion about the importance of preserving humanities in medicine. He also spoke about staying positive in a time of pandemic and the role of spirituality in medicine. We would like to thank Dr. Mishra for his detailed responses to the students’ questions and for offering his time to speak with us!
