2014 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Activities

Sunday, January 19: Community Multi-Faith Celebration

The William Jewett Tucker Foundation hosted the annual Community Multi-Faith Celebration honoring the life and works of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Sunday, January 19th, 2014 at 3 pm in Rollins Chapel. Father Greg Boyle, of Homeboy Industries in Los Angeles, California and NY Times Bestselling Author of Tattoos on the Heart: The Power of Boundless Compassion, was the featured speaker.  For a complete biography of Father Greg, please click here. The celebration also featured special musical performances from the Dartmouth Community, including the Dartmouth Rockapellas, Dierre Upshaw '09 & Evelynn Ellis, VP for Institutional Diversity and Equity, and other special performances from the Dartmouth Community.
