Denise Dupré has held various teaching positions including a teaching fellowship at Cornell University School of Hospitality Administration, and an appointment as associate professor of the School of Hotel Administration at Boston University. She is currently teaching a course at Harvard, based on her industry textbook, "Hospitality World!" Dupré has also worked extensively in the hotel and restaurant field, including roles in marketing, consulting, and operations for public and private hotel companies. She has contributed to a number of schools in a volunteer capacity. She currently serves on the Harvard Business School Board of Dean's Advisors, the board of the Noble and Greenough School, and the Fessenden School, where she is chair of the board. She is a former member and chair of the board of Mercersburg Academy.
Dupré majored in economics at Dartmouth, and earned an MPS at Cornell's School of Hotel Administration. She has been an active volunteer for Dartmouth, serving on the President's Leadership Council, the Alumni Council, the Board of Overseers at the Hanover Inn, and most recently the Presidential Search Committee. She has also served her class as a reunion co-chair and president. She is the oldest of four sisters who attended Dartmouth, Rosi '82, Anni '83 and Mich '89. She and her husband Mark Nunnelly have four children.
