The Board of Trustees consists of the President of the College, the Governor of New Hampshire (ex officio), and twenty-one others: thirteen Charter Trustees and eight Alumni Trustees. Charter Trustees are nominated and elected by the Board itself; Alumni Trustees are nominated by the alumni and elected by the Board. Duties and powers of all the Trustees are the same, and all elected members serve four-year terms. Both Charter Trustees and Alumni Trustees normally serve no more than two terms.
