A festival for the development of innovative new projects initiated by Dartmouth alumni. Vox Theater (www.voxtheater.org) will be in residence at Dartmouth from June 29-July 7, collaborating on seven new works with Dartmouth students, alumni and faculty.
In addition to presenting traditional theater the Department of Theater is committed to exposing students to innovative, cutting-edge theater. Every summer the New York Theatre Workshop is in residence. The department frequently hosts workshops with well-know professionals in the field such as August Wilson, Ntozake Shange, Augusto Boal and Wendy Wasserstein.
