Hood Museum The Hood Museum, completed in 1986, houses Darmouth's 60,000 piece art collection. The museum organizes special exhibitions and related events throughout the year, and frequently collaborates with the Studio Art Department in arranging slide lectures and/or studio visits by contemporary artists. The collections are used extensively by various Studio Art classes. Museum internships are available which enable students to become involved in the many curatorial aspects of museum work. |
