Susan Ellison has worked as an immigration attorney since 1995, and prior to joining Dartmouth College was a Partner in the global immigration law firm of Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy. As an immigration attorney, Susan advised both employers and individuals on a broad range of immigration issues, including counseling foreign students on the complexities of the immigration process. Susan also served as an adjunct professor at Boston College Law School, where she taught a course in Business Immigration Law. Susan is a graduate of Ursinus College and Boston College Law School.
Marcia Calloway is a licensed New Hampshire attorney, employed at Dartmouth College since 1997 as Associate Registrar for the Undergraduate College. She joined the Office of Visa and Immigration Services in 2004. As Associate Director and Advisor to International Undergraduate Students, Marcia has primary responsibility for advising all international undergraduate degree and non-degree students on academic and immigration issues. Suzanne Pendergrass has worked in the field of international education advising international students and exchange visitors for 10 years. Prior to joining Dartmouth College, Suzanne worked in New York City at St. John's University for 8 years and at The New School for 2 years. She is looking forward to meeting and working with graduate students at Dartmouth College. Originally from Northern California, Suzanne has lived and worked overseas as a Peace Corps Volunteer – for 2 years in Bulgaria and 6 months in East Timor as well as studied abroad in Prague, Czech Republic for 3 months while in Graduate school. When time permits, Suzanne likes to spend time with her friends, listen to music, watch movies, and read.
Keriann Ketcham joined OVIS in February 2016. Prior to moving to New Hampshire to pursue international student advising at Dartmouth College, Keriann worked as an immigration paralegal in Boston, MA and at the International Student and Scholar Institute at Northeastern University. She interned abroad in San José, Costa Rica and spent a year as an exchange student in Zaragoza, Spain where she also played semi-professional soccer with C.D. Movera. Originally from upstate New York, Keriann earned her Bachelor’s degree from SUNY Fredonia and received her Master's degree in International Higher Education from Lesley University.
Sheri Ball has been at Dartmouth College since August 2004. She enjoys working with the staff and the clientele of the Office of Visa and Immigration Services.
Megan Murray is excited to be completing a six month internship with OVIS, as a part of her graduate work in international education at SIT Graduate Institute in Brattleboro, Vermont. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Megan has studied abroad in Morocco and Costa Rica and taught English at the primary level in Royan, France for a school year. Other multicultural experiences include time as a refugee caseworker in Pittsburgh and an opportunity to work in the front of house at a French bakery.
Fukiko Suda Helm joined OVIS in the summer of 2011, after six years of similar work at Clark University in Massachusetts. She has worked in higher education for over thirteen years in the U.S. and Japan.
