All new UGA candidates are required to attend a UGA Information Session before completing their application. Each Information Session will last approximately an hour and a half, and it is your responsibility to sign-in to mark your attendance.
Information Sessions are a great way to learn more about the UGA position, hear more about the requirements and time commitments of the UGA role, hear from the Assistant Dean of Residential Life and Director of Residential Education and be able to ask current UGAs questions about their experience. These Information Sessions are meant to provide you with a better understanding of the role before you apply, so please feel free to bring any questions you may have about the role or application to these sessions.
If you are interested in applying to be the UGA of a Living Learning Community, please attend a UGA Information Session labeled specifically for Living Learning Communities, as they will provide a more in-depth understanding of the community as well as the UGA role within the community.
Candidates are requested to attend an Information Session within the same term in which they are applying (i.e., if you are submitting your UGA Application in Winter term, you should also attend an Information Session during Winter term). If you are unable to attend one of these information sessions, please contact the UGA Recruitment and Selection Committee as soon as possible.
To find the dates, times, and locations for UGA Information Sessions for this Selection period, please see the Selection Dates and Deadlines page.
Note: You will be unable to sign up for a UGA Candidate Interview if you do not attend a UGA Information Session.
