Dartmouth College houses over 3,000 students in its residential communities. Each cluster or group of clusters is supervised by a full-time, live-in Community Director. Community Directors are supervised by one of two full-time Associate Directors of Residential Education.
Approximately one-third of all student rooms are singles, the majority of which are assigned to upperclass students. The remaining rooms consist of one, two, and three-room doubles, one, two, and three-room triples, two, three, and four-room quads, apartments and suites. Many of the rooms contain private or semi-private bathrooms. Most of the rooms are carpeted.
Additional information about building capacities and room types for upperclass students can be obtained from the Undergraduate Housing Office, located in the basement of North Massachusetts Hall, or by calling (603) 646-3093.
