The office is responsible for leadership development, organizational management and general administration for all Greek Letter Organizations, Undergraduate Societies and Senior Societies at Dartmouth College.

Deborah Carney
Assistant Dean of Residential Life & Director of Greek Letter Organizations and Societies

In 1986, Deb began her career at Dartmouth as the Women's Varsity Golf Coach.  In 1988, she became the Assistant Dean of Residential Life with the primary responsibility of overseeing the coed, sorority, fraternity community along with the undergraduate and senior societies.  "I find my work with Dartmouth students to be very rewarding and meaningful."  Deb earned her undergraduate degree in Physical Education and Health at the University of Vermont where she joined Kappa Alpha Theta Women's Fraternity.  She obtained a Masters of Education degree from Boston University with a Concentration in Higher Education Administration.  Deb is a proud parent of two daughters.  "In my spare time, I enjoy reading, entertaining, working out and spending time with my family and friends."

Fouad Saleet
Associate Director of Greek Letter Organizations and Societies

Fouad is originally from Allentown, PA and loves living in the Upper Valley. He enjoys working with Greek Letter Organizations because he believes them to be great venues for leadership and character development. He enjoys good food, good movies, and good friends. Fouad is a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. He received his BA in Psychology from Muhlenberg College and his M.Ed. in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Kutztown University. 

Bernard Haskell
Assistant Director of Residential Operations

In the winter of 1991, Bernard began his career at Dartmouth in the Outdoor Programs office as the Alpine Development coach; he then moved in as Manager of Ledyard Canoe Club.  In 1992, he became the Assistant Director of Residential Operations with the primary responsibility of overseeing the Coed, Sorority, Fraternity and Affinity physical plants.  He feels very lucky to live a couple miles from campus in VT with his wife & two daughters, who have had Dartmouth students as mentors, coaches and friends.  He is an avid skier, weekend ski coach in VT, road biker, cook and gardener.

Laura Rogers
CFS/UGS Financial Assistant

Laura has been working with the Coed, Fraternity, Sorority and Undergraduate Societies since 1993 helping treasurers understand the value and methods of careful accounting for their organizations.  Laura feels that "it's very rewarding to watch the students develop into excellent fiscal officers." She spent her childhood growing up around Vermont and New Hampshire and settled in Lebanon with her husband in the late 1970s.  She spent much of the next three decades raising her three daughters and working as an accountant for a variety of local businesses and social service agencies.  With her children now grown, Laura enjoys spending time with family and friends, travel and a newfound talent in golf.
