The Diversity Peer Program was started by a group of students and administrators during the summer term of 2000 to help provide information, support, and skills to students committed to diversity initiatives at Dartmouth.
Since that time, over a 100 students have attended the Diversity Peer Program Retreat and have continued with their commitment to exploring diversity issues both personally and systematically on campus by offering projects, workshops, proposals, forums, and other events.
The Diversity Peer Program will empower student participants to utilize this training program to heighten awareness of diversity and social justice issues as well as create a path to action and change within the entire Dartmouth community and beyond.
The program examines six primary areas of diversity
