John Muratore, Senior Lecturer in Music, has performed with the Boston Musica Viva, Alea III, Chorus Pro Musica, the Franciscan String Quartet, and the Boston Composer's String Quartet. He has performed concertos with the Brockton Symphony Orchestra, the Boston Mozarteum Chamber Orchestra, Longwood Symphony, and the Cambridge Symphony Orchestra, and has premiered works by Daniel Pinkham, Scott Wheeler, and Jon Appleton. He has been a soloist at the Academie Festival des Arcs and the Aspen Music Festival, appeared on the International Artist Series at the American Church in Paris, and in 1995 gave a series of solo Concerts in St. Petersburg, Russia. In 1996 he won first prize in the phi Delta Kappa National Strings Competition. John has recorded for Arabesque Records.
