Marcia Cassidy

Marcia Cassidy, Senior Lecturer in Music, has performed extensively in the United States, Europe, Canada, and Japan to critical acclaim as a member of the Franciscan String Quartet. She pursued her musical training at the University of Texas, University of New Mexico, New England Conservatory, San Francisco Conservatory, and with the Tokyo String Quartet at the Yale School of Music. Her principal teachers have included Geraldine Walther, Burton Fine, Leonard Felberg, and Doris Norton. She is currently a member of the Bella Rosa String Quartet, the New England Bach Festival Orchestra, and the musicians of the Old Post Road (Boston).
