Fitness Reimbursement Program

Dartmouth College Employee Health Benefit Reimbursement for Fitness Memberships

Benefits-eligible employees and retirees enrolled in ANY of the Anthem health insurance programs are now eligible to receive a $200 reimbursement from their medical plan for the expense of purchasing a membership. To receive this benefit, you must exercise twice a week in the gym for 12 out of 20 weeks.  Additionally, you must complete a fitness log card and have it initialed by a fitness club staff member each time you exercise.

For program information:

• Go to Anthem’s Web site at www.anthem.com.
• Select “New Hampshire” from the Select a State drop-down menu.
• Click “Enter”.
• Click the “Answers@Anthem” tab at the top of the Member Home screen.
• Click on “Special Offers” from the bulleted list on the Answers@Anthem page.
• Click on the “Fitness & Weight Management” tab at the top of the Special Offers@Anthem page.
• “Fitness Reimbursement Program” is at the bottom of the Fitness & Weight Management page.  You will see buttons for “More Info” and “Link to Offer”.
• • Click “More Info” for detailed information about the Fitness Reimbursement Program, including requirements and the Anthem contacts.
  • “Link to Offer” will display a list of participating fitness clubs in New Hampshire.
