This year, the popular Fall Employee Services Fair this year will be held on Halloween, Wednesday 31 October, from 10am-2pm at Collis Common Ground.
The Fall Fair is the annual opportunity for Dartmouth staff, faculty and retirees to refresh their awareness of the many services and benefits offered to employees by college departments or outside vendors. More than 40 groups will be participating, from the HR Health Benefits and Retirement specialists to the Dartmouth Skiway, the Hood Museum, Outdoor Programs and Upper Valley Rideshare. The theme of this year's fair is "A Healthier Dartmouth", to focus on Dartmouth's efforts to assist college employees to improve their physical and mental health. Vendors have been invited to decorate their displays in a style in keeping with the "healthy" theme, and as always competition will be intense for the chance of winning a "Most Colorful" , or "Best in Show" prize!
Last year approximately 800 faculty, staff, and retirees attended, and we anticipate a similar level of interest this year. As well as an abundance of useful information, attendees can enjoy a nourishing free lunch of hot chili or cold meat or vegetable wraps with apple cider provided by Dartmouth Dining Services. There are also opportunities for visitors to win prize drawings and from 11am-12 noon there will be live music provided by Matthew Wiencke, classical pianist and staff editor of Geisel Medical School Publications. We look forward to meeting many faculty, employees and retirees at this informative and enjoyable event .
