Extensions for Programs and Services
Individuals residing in College housing may extend their lease until a date 180 days after the last day worked, provided rent continues to be paid on the 1st of each month in advance.
AIM program borrowers may extend their loan obligation three years from the last day worked.
Employees living in housing which gives Dartmouth a Repurchase Option will have ten years from the last day worked for the triggering notice to occur.
Balances for any outstanding employee loans will be deducted (as stated in the loan agreement) from the final check.
Tuition assistance requests already approved will be honored and paid upon completion of course(s) per the tuition policy even if the class ends following the last date of employment.
The Dartmouth College Child Care Center will waive the thirty-day limit on continued enrollment of a family's child in the Center without penalty, extending the eligibility for enrollment from the last day worked until June 30, 2009, if requested.
Paid gym memberships may continue through June 30. Renewals would be subject to community membership rates.
Career counseling and outplacement support will be offered by Human Resources to assist employees with their transition.
