Thank you to all who took the time to review and consider the proposed
retiree health benefit changes, attend public information sessions, ask
questions, and offer comments. Your feedback was instrumental in guiding our
efforts to design a retiree health benefit that we believe will be sustainable
for many years to come.
An online
calculator is available to help you estimate what your retiree health
premium subsidy will be when you retire from Dartmouth. Also within this
site, you will find information about
retirement planning resources and the
changes to the plan design (deductibles, copays, and out-of-pocket maximums)
for age 65+ retirees.
In April, active, benefits-eligible employees will receive a letter
confirming their individual subsidy percentage. If at that time you have
questions or see a number different from the one you have calculated, please
call the Benefits office (603-646-3588) so that the discrepancy can be
resolved.
