Thea Dorn

The Max Kade Distinguished Visiting Professor in the spring of 2010 is Thea Dorn. The topic of her course, German 82, will be announced soon. She is the author of mystery novels, plays, screenplays for the television series Tatort, and various non-fiction works. Her writings have been translated into ten languages, and her plays have been performed in Hamburg, Hannover, Berlin, New York, Moskau, Petersburg, Riga, Lissabon, Den Haag, Istanbul, and Montevideo. Since 2003 she has regularly hosted tv shows for SWR and ARTE about literature and culture.
