Foreign Study Programs

Dartmouth's Foreign Study programs in Classics provide a unique opportunity for students to spend fully credited terms abroad in Greece (spring) and Italy (fall) studying the history, archaeology, art and architecture of these countries in their original setting. Students interested in participating in the Foreign Study Programs should contact the faculty associated with the Programs as outlined in the Greece and Rome portions of the Off-Campus Programs web site. Students must apply online to participate in any of Dartmouth’s Foreign Study programs.  The department also advises students on opportunities for archaeological fieldwork in the summer, whether or not such fieldwork will immediately precede or follow participation in one of the department’s own off-campus programs.
