Since 1842 fraternity and sorority life has been an exciting and important part of the Dartmouth College experience. Greek organizations agree to uphold six principles through their activities, programs and philosophies. These principles are Scholarship, Leadership, Service, Brotherhood & Sisterhood, Inclusiveness and Accountability.
The Greek letter community is diverse with both local and nationally affiliated organizations representing the National Panhellenic Conference, the North-American Interfraternity Conference, National Pan-Hellenic Council and the National Association of Latino/a Fraternal Organizations.
The Office of Greek Life is responsible for leadership development, organizational management and general administration for all Greek letter organizations, Greek honor societies, undergraduate societies and senior societies at Dartmouth College.
