My name is Edel (pronounced like Adele the singer) and I’m an ‘18 from Irvine, California! I am a Comparative Literature major specializing in Japanese Translation and a Japanese and Anthropology in Global Health double minor. Although I do love books and languages, I share the same passion for medicine! I’m currently involved in Dartmouth EMS and am a certified NREMT and a Basic Life Support Instructor. I currently work in the Tomlinson Lab at the Cancer Center, researching on protein pathways that lead to obesity and having way too much fun with mice. My other key activities on campus include being one of the Dartmouth Cancer Scholars Directors, teaching Japanese drill, and being a part of the Committee on Standards with the Office of Judicial Affairs. If there is anything I can help with or any questions I can answer, please don’t hesitate to contact me!
