Once known as Thayer Hall, the Class of 1953 Commons is the center of dining at Dartmouth. The building contains Dartmouth's central dining hall, as well as the Dartmouth Card Office, Sarner Underground, a 24-hour student social space, and the Paganucci Lounge, Dartmouth's board room.
The dining portion of '53 Commons includes 8 distinct stations, each serving a different style of food, ranging from kosher to a meat-free kitchen serving vegetarian and vegan dishes. Our state of the art Wood Stone pizza oven serves up some of the best pizza in the Upper Valley, and there is always a larges selection of fresh breads, pastries and cookies at the Bakery.
'53 Commons offers a complete meal to guests for a single entry fee. '53 Commons is open to members of the Dartmouth community as well as the general public.
'53 Commons will reopen for Summer Term at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, June 17th.
The Hearth, Big Greens (salad Bar) and the Grill will be open for after hours dining will be available to Dartmouth students from 8:30 pm to 10 pm. The door price is $7.75.
The Pavilion and the World View stations are not open during the summer.
